Warwickshire close in on County Championship title after skittling Leicestershire

Warwickshire took a big step towards clinching the Rothesay County Championship title after skittling relegation-threatened Leicestershire for 125 at Edgbaston.

Ahead of the first day's play, Leicestershire announced plans to appeal their 27-point deduction for a substandard pitch at Grace Road in last month's win over Glamorgan - a decision that means their Division One fate could remain up in the air until the final round of fixtures this week.
