The Venice Film Festival has made a last-minute addition to its competition lineup: “Naza,” a new documentary from “No Other Land” directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor.

The doc, which was shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, shows “in detail the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza,” according to its official synopsis.

“Naza” is produced by The Guardian and James Wilson of JW Films, and executive produced by Jonathan Glazer. Wilson and Glazer also worked on 2023’s “The Zone of Interest” together, which won the Oscar for best international feature.
