President Trump will travel to California and Nevada to sell his economic message this week with stops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, the president will attend a Republican National Committee dinner at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles. He will then head to Las Vegas on Wednesday to tout tax cuts within the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, also known as the Working Families Tax Cut Act, at Red Rock Casino.

“President Trump will visit California on Tuesday to tout his wins for the people of the Golden State despite failed Democrat leadership: the largest middle-class tax cut ever, the most secure border in American history, and a plummeting crime rate,” White House spokesperson Olivia Wales said.

“The president will draw a sharp contrast between his commonsense agenda and the radical policies of Democrats like Gavin Newsom, who keep raising taxes, inviting rampant fraud in taxpayer-funded programs, and protecting illegal immigrant drug dealers, rapists, and murderers,” she continued.

Newsom and Trump have a long-running feud. The president and governor met face-to-face during the president’s trip to the state in 2025 as the southern part of the state battled deadly wildfires.

Both states are home to gubernatorial races, and a number of competitive House races, including in California’s 22nd, 48th, 13th, 21st, and 45th districts, along with Nevada’s 1st, 3rd and 4th districts.

Trump visited Los Angeles at the beginning of his second term in 2015, and traveled to Las Vegas last April to highlight his “No Tax on Tips” policy within the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
