NBC An unhinged “Elon Musk” hit the “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update desk this week to address the outcome of this week’s midterm elections — and Musk, as played by “SNL” featured player Jeremy Culhane, didn’t quite know how to address it.
The real Musk, of course, spent nearly $500 million on Republican candidates, especially in his home state of Texas — which then saw most of its statewide races turn Democratic. “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost attempted to get “Elon Musk” (Culhane) to address it: “Elon, you’ve been you’ve been in the news because you wasted half a billion dollars on the midterms.”
