Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Rotten Mango, What Now? with Trevor Noah, and more will soon be available to stream on Tubi as part of a new deal with SiriusXM.

SiriusXM has partnered with the Fox-owned free streaming service on a distribution and advertising deal for a selection of its podcasts. Additional titles soon to be available on Tubi include The School of Greatness and The Deep 3 Podcast, with more to come.

The deal is non-exclusive, meaning that the podcasts do not have any exclusive window on Tubi and will still be available on YouTube and other audio and distribution platforms. This differs from the deals Spotify, iHeartMedia and more have recently struck with Netflix. SiriusXM is notably not partnered with Netflix at this time.

Instead, the Tubi deal brings wider video distribution to some of the audio giant’s top podcasts, including true crime podcast Rotten Mango and Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, which are both in the top 20 podcasts in the U.S., according to Edison Research. The shows are expected to stream on Tubi starting in late June.

“In podcasting, audio has long thrived through broad distribution across platforms, helping shows grow and connect with new audiences wherever people choose to listen,” said Andrew Moss, svp of content strategy and development at SiriusXM. “We’re applying that same philosophy to video — expanding our creators’ reach across phones, computers, and connected TVs so their shows can be discovered by more fans in more places. Bringing our content to Tubi is another step in helping creators grow their audiences and businesses as video podcast viewing continues to expand.”

Tubi has been building up its own podcasting ambitions after its acquisition of Red Seat Ventures and after signing a multiyear deal with Ashley Flowers, host of Crime Junkie, and her Audiochuck podcasting group.

“Tubi is a platform built to help creators grow their fanbases and revenue, and this partnership with SiriusXM is a natural extension of that,” said Rich Bloom, general manager, creator programs and executive vice president, business development at Tubi. “By bringing some of the most compelling voices in podcasting to Tubi, we’re giving creators a powerful new avenue to expand their reach and connect with viewers who are hungry for these stories. We’re committed to being the platform where creators scale — and we’re just getting started.”
