Nico O'Reilly has withdrawn from the England squad for their final two Nations League matches of the international break because of injury.
The left-back played the full game for manager Thomas Tuchel's side in the 3-2 defeat by Spain but missed Tuesday's 2-0 win against the Czech Republic.
O'Reilly has now returned to club side Manchester City for "further assessment" and will miss the trip to Croatia on Saturday and the return game against the Czechs on Tuesday.
England do not plan to call-up any replacements.
Lewis Hall replaced O'Reilly against the Czech Republic and the Newcastle United full-back combined well with former Magpies team-mate Anthony Gordon on England's left flank.
