Mattress sales come and go so often that it’s hard to determine what’s an actual deal. The times of year when we see the most legit mattress deals are Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. And this year is no different. We’re already seeing our favorite WIRED-tested bedding and mattress brands offering discounts leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I’ll be on the lookout for more deals as we approach the actual event, so be sure to check back often for fresh discounts on these often-pricey purchases. Note that all mattress prices below are for queen sizes.
Want more deals? We have even more discounts on WIRED-tested tech here. Updated November 4, 2026: I've updated the mattress sales with new dates and promo codes, updated prices, and added new deals from Tempur-Pedic, Sleep Number, Restnature, and Bedgear.

$2,499 $1,874 (25% off)Helix Sleep
This Helix mattress has been our top pick for years and remains one of the most popular bed-in-a-box options for good reason. Its plush pillowtop and medium-firm feel make it comfortable for nearly any sleeper, whether they sleep on their side, back, or stomach.
We love Helix in general, and right now the brand has 20 percent off sitewide when you use the Helix promo code BF20. Luxe Natural Mattress
$2,624 $1,968 (25% off)Birch
We really love this organic mattress. When we tested the Luxe model above, we found it offered a lovely balance of plush comfort and pressure relief, with just enough bounce to make it a great choice for back sleepers seeking a little extra support. But all of Birch's models are made from natural materials like wool, latex, and cotton, without any polyurethane-based foams.
Birch's Black Friday sale runs through November 29, with 25 percent off sitewide when you use the Birch promo code BF25.

Elite Hybrid (Firm)
$2,284 $1,485 (35% off)Bear
The firm Bear Elite Hybrid has long been one of our top picks for back pain. Both reviewers who tested it agree that you love it more the longer you sleep on it. Bear mattresses also keep you cool, with phase-change material that absorbs body heat and copper-infused memory foam that wicks it away.
Bear Mattress has a Black Friday Sale running through November 29, with 35 percent off sitewide and a free bundle of two pillows and a mattress protector with promo code BF35.

Sapira Chill
$2,399 $1,799 (25% off)Leesa
We on the WIRED Reviews team love hybrid mattresses because they bring together the best of both worlds—memory foam and the support of inner coils. The Sapira Chill is the best hybrid mattress we've tested to date, bringing relief to our tester's back pain while absorbing excess heat through the temperature-regulating cover.

Sleep Number
ComfortNext Lux Smart Bed
$3,999 $3,199 (20% off)Sleep Number
We love this smart bed from Sleep Number. (Read our review here.) It offers balanced pressure that’s ideal for side sleepers, cushioning for pressure points, motion isolation, helpful sleep tracking, and customizable firmness. With its built-in sleep tracking, it monitors your nightly sleep score, called your “Sleep IQ” number within the app. That data is compared with the firmness level you choose, known as your “Sleep Number” setting. This helps you fine-tune the firmness that, based on your sleep-tracking data, helps you sleep better.
The ComfortNext line, including the Lux Smart Bed model above, is 20 percent off. Sleep Number's Climate Collection is 25 percent off, and sheet sets and pillows are BOGO 50 percent off—check out all of Sleep Number's current sales and eligible items here. The offer runs through December 7, and no promo code is needed—deals will be applied automatically.

This is probably the most luxurious smart bed the WIRED Reviews team has tested. (Read our review here.) When I die, bury me with this modular, supremely cooling mattress. It's part of Bedgear's new Night Ice collection, and is the most cooling beds I've ever slept on. $55 $38 (31% off)Trtl
Though WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe thought this travel neck pillow was a bit big and dorky, it ended up being her favorite of all the travel pillows she’s tested for comfort during long-haul flights. All colorways are at least 20 percent off right now, but the chili red color is 30 percent off.
