The Directors Guild of America has announced the 79th annual DGA Awards will take place Saturday, Jan. 30, 2027, honoring directorial achievements across film, television and documentaries.

The upcoming ceremony will take place nine days after the announcement of the 99th Academy Awards nominations, serving as a key, early barometer of which film and its accompanying auteur could take home the Oscar.
