Debi Mazar told The Times U.K. her time working on Entourage turned “toxic towards the end,” claiming that after she gave birth to her second child, “they didn’t like that I got fat.”

In an interview with the outlet, the actress said that she initially enjoyed her tenure on the HBO series. Things shifted on set, Mazar said, during season three of the Emmy-winning show.

“Season one was a joy-fest. But in the third season, the set was a testosterone-fuelled environment,” she said. “I’m tough, but it got toxic towards the end for me.”

Mazar also told the Times that things became “complicated” because she did not shy away from sharing her frustrations, and that unnamed people did not “like that I got fat” after having her second child. Season three of Entourage ran from 2006-07; Mazar welcomed her second daughter in March 2006.

“And I’d had my second baby and they didn’t like that I got fat, even though I got skinny again. It was complicated because I’m outspoken and never held back my discontent,” she said. “But I always was professional and I’m grateful I was on it. It was a lot of fun, until it wasn’t.”

The Goodfellas actress starred in Entourage during its full tenure from 2004 to 2011, where she portrayed Shauna Roberts, Vincent Chase’s (Adrian Grenier) publicist. The show picked up a total of six Emmys, with 26 nominations overall.

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to reps for HBO and Mazar for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
