Cinespia, Los Angeles’ longest-running outdoor cinematic experience, has released its July lineup, set to be held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. As part of its landmark 25th anniversary season, Cinespia will host community screenings of “Legally Blonde” at the end of June, a special Fourth of July Firework Spectacular screening of “Shrek,” along with “Jurassic Park,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Rosemary’s Baby,” and “Edward Scissorhands.” Additional screenings for the anniversary season will be announced at a later date. Cinespia’s DJs will spin lively, themed sets before and after every screening, while guests are welcome to picnic on the lawn with blankets and enjoy a free photo booth, concession stands, and beer and wine throughout the evening. Cinespia is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.cinespia.org. Below, the full lineup. Saturday, June 27 — “Legally Blonde” “Revenge is a dish best served pink. Reese Witherspoon gives ’em Elle when Harvard Law becomes a picture-perfect opportunity to prove she’s more than just a pretty face. What, like it’s hard? Hollywood Forever Cemetery is especially fabulous with a blonde and beautiful 2000s classic on the big screen, and a pink party to match. Practice that bend and snap, because the perfect day awaits, all in celebration of Elle, the new Prime Video ‘Legally Blonde prequel,’ set to premiere in July 2026.” Friday, July 3 — “Shrek + Fireworks” “Once upon a grime, twenty-five years ago, a curmudgeonly but lovable swamp thang made all our hearts sing. Shrek’s beloved quest for true love, personal growth, and basic privacy lands under the stars for a night of fairy-tale chaos and happily-clever-afters. Join us for all the hilarity, heart, and Smash Mouth your nostalgic soul can handle.” Saturday, July 4 — “Jurassic Park + Fireworks” “Join us for a Fourth of July extravaganza with dinosaurs and fireworks! Stomp the yard with the Jurassic classic that brought dinosaurs back from the dead. It’s a stampede of velocirapture when a visionary scientist creates a theme park utopia where genetically-revived dinosaurs roam free. What could possibly go wrong? The adrenaline rush continues after the film with a fireworks show that’s dino-mite!” Saturday, July 11 — “Pulp Fiction” “Be cool, Honey Bunny, and grab tickets to Quentin Tarantino’s brilliantly bizarre and and fearlessly fast masterpiece. The path of the righteous leads to Hollywood Forever Cemetery where stories and movie stars collide in one of the slickest films ever made. A movie this cool deserves a party to match.” Saturday, July 18 — “Rosemary’s Baby” “You’re invited to celebrate a special delivery—from hell! A young couple moves into a spooky building with an infamous past. After a monstrous, hallucinatory night, Rosemary (Mia Farrow) learns of a pregnancy that turns her saccharine life into something sinister. The horror! Brush up on your anagrams and brace yourself for a helluva night with devilish flare under the stars.” Saturday, July 25 — “Edward Scissorhands” “Put your Scissorhands up in the air for a goth-meets-pop extravaganza! Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp star as scar-crossed lovers in Tim Burton’s candy colored fable. Drama freeflows like snow off an ice sculpture when a makeup saleswoman (Dianne Wiest) brings home a lovable outcast who just needs a hand. Edward’s shear genius makes him the talk of the town, but his love for the town hottie starts something snippy. Who knew suburbia could be so monstrous?”
