Gilbert Flores for Variety Philanthropist and television writer-producer Chuck Lorre will receive the Founders Angel Award at Project Angel Food’s annual Angel Awards Gala on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Los Angeles.
This award has only been presented once before, and is the organization’s highest honor, “reserved for individuals whose vision, leadership and generosity have had a transformative impact on its mission, shaped its future and created an enduring legacy,” Project Angel Food said in a statement Tuesday.
