Brooklyn Film Festival The Brooklyn Film Festival has set the lineup for its 29th edition, themed “The Invitation,” with 134 films, including 36 world premieres, set to screen from May 29 through June 7 across venues in Fort Greene, Greenpoint and Williamsburg.
This year’s program spans 30 countries and includes 11 narrative features and seven documentary features, alongside a broad shorts slate. The festival will present 50 narrative shorts, 17 documentary shorts, 24 animated films and 21 experimental works, in addition to dozens of premieres across categories, including U.S. debuts, East Coast premieres and first-time New York screenings.
