Gen Z breakout artist Gigi Perez is gearing up for her next big moment: taking on a Green Day classic. The “Sailor Song” artist — who has amassed more than 2 billion streams on Spotify — is putting her own spin on “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).”
Released in collaboration with apparel and lifestyle brand Hollister, the reimagined version arrives March 26 across music streaming platforms, accompanied by a full campaign that includes a video, in-store activations, and a capsule collection aptly titled “Time of Your Life,” spanning apparel and accessories (all of which you can shop below).

Since its release in 1997, “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” has become a cornerstone of rock culture, and a near-inescapable graduation anthem. Its poignant lyrics have echoed through countless auditoriums as caps are tossed and goodbyes are said, turning into a generational rite of passage.
For Hollister, Perez was a natural choice to reinterpret a track that has racked up more than a billion streams and decades of memories. Since she began writing and performing as a teenager, she has carved out a space defined by raw vulnerability and a deep connection with her audience.
“There were so many pieces of this project that made this opportunity feel perfect,” said Perez in a release. “I’m deeply nostalgic, and thinking about my own senior year, the impact Green Day has had on me, and my connection with Hollister made reimagining a song that’s so important to me a really special experience.”

This latest release arrives just ahead of graduation season, positioning the track to resonate with a new generation of listeners experiencing it for the first time.
It also marks a full-circle moment. Founded in 2000, Hollister rose to prominence as a defining force in early-2000s teen culture. Now, nearly three decades after “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” first landed — and more than two decades after the brand’s debut — both the song and Hollister are right back on top.
