Big Mistakes and Death by Lightning went into the night with the most nominations, four nods each.
A number of series landed three nominations apiece including I Love LA, Beef, DTF St. Louis, Alien: Earth and Pluribus.
I Love LA picked up the first award of the night, for breakthrough comedy series. The Chair Company‘s Tim Robinson won best lead performance in a comedy series, though he wasn’t on hand to accept the trophy. The third comedy prize, best supporting performance, went to Big Mistakes‘ Laurie Metcalf.

Greg Kinnear presented the first of several previously announced tribute honors to Michelle Pfeiffer, “calling her ‘the definition of cool; the gold standard.’ Accepting the Legend Tribute, Pfeiffer channeled her Catwoman character and licked the trophy. In her speech, she thanked the companies behind two of her recent TV projects, Paramount+’s The Madison and Apple TV‘s Margo’s Got Money Troubles, for supporting both series and “making room for complex and complicated women at the center of them.”
Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy presented the Visionary Tribute to Matt and Ross Duffer.
Additional previously announced honors will be given to the cast of Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette (Ensemble Tribute), Kerry Washington (the Spotlight Tribute) and Claire Danes (the Performer Tribute).
