Zendaya, David Harbour, Florence Pugh Among Stars Set to Present at the Emmys

The Emmys have enlisted an array of stars known for both television and film roles to present at the 78th annual Emmy Awards on Monday.

Zendaya, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Amy Poehler and Jon Hamm are just a few of the presenters that the Television Academy named on Wednesday. Other stars set to appear onstage at downtown L.A.’s Peacock Theater during the ceremony include Odessa A’zion, David Boreanaz, Linda Cardellini, Macaulay Culkin, Alan Cumming, Sally Field, Marcello Hernández, Kate Jackson and Peter Krause.

Also on deck for the Emmys are Cheryl Ladd, Dan Levy, Julianna Margulies, Annie Murphy, Niecy Nash-Betts, Keke Palmer, Amanda Peet, Rachel Sennott and Jaclyn Smith.

The longtime star of NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mariska Hargitay, is set to host the awards ceremony celebrating the best in television. Additional presenters will be announced in the coming days.

The first woman to host the awards ceremony in 15 years, Hargitay recently told The Hollywood Reporter that, in her view, the ceremony “is about celebrating this incredible thing that we’re all so fortunate to be able to do: Tell stories that move people, entertain people, make people laugh and cry and everything in between.”

She added, “Humor and laughter are deep, vital, indispensable parts of who I am, and I feel very lucky that I have this opportunity to bring all of myself to the party.”

Leading Emmy nominations ahead of Monday is HBO Max‘s The Pitt, with 25 nominations, followed by HBO Max’s Hacks (with 24 nominations) and Apple TV+’s Widow’s Bay (19). Not too far behind is Apple TV+‘s Pluribus (18 nominations), Netflix’s Beef (16), HBO Max’s DTF St. Louis (13) and NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Amazon Prime Video’s Spider-Noir with 11 nominations each.

Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment and Hargitay are executive producing the telecast, which will air on NBC and stream on Peacock starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
