Yungblud Tom Pallant* Yungblud will play an eclectic mix of whatever he feels like playing on a new Sirius XM show, Yungblud Radio, that will air at 10 p.m. ET on Mondays on the digital broadcaster’s Alt Nation channel (Number 36). The first episode arrives tonight.
He describes his taste as a “schizophrenic amalgamation of the greatest music of all time.” Just how eclectic will it be? A sample playlist that Sirius XM sent Rolling Stone includes not just Fontaines D.C.’s “Here’s the Thing” and Sam Fender’s “People Watching” but also Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and a concert recording of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Flying High Again.” He also intends to play music by Oasis, the Cure, and Arctic Monkeys.
“Radio has always been such an iconic format to me,” Yungblud tells Rolling Stone. “Some of my earliest memories when discovering music was because of radio. Now, to have my own show on SiriusXM, broadcasting all over North America is something I’m so proud of. To be able to listen to music with all of you is gonna be such a riot.
