Everett Collection Black Bear’s period comedy “Wicker,” directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson and starring Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki, clinched the top spot at the U.K. and Ireland box office, debuting at No. 1 with £1.76 million ($2.34 million).
The film narrowly edged A24’s psychological thriller “Primetime,” directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers, which opened in second position by a razor-thin margin of just £10,141, collecting £1.75 million ($2.33 million).
