President Trump will headline the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington on Friday afternoon.
The annual “Road to Majority” event comes as the Trump administration grapples with fallout from the Iran war, rising affordability concerns ahead of the midterms and as Democrats find an opportunity to bring abortion issues back to the spotlight four years after Roe v. Wade was overturned.
The conference will also mark Trump’s first visit to the Washington Hilton hotel since the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner shooting earlier this year.
Other notable guests include Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner and a slew of House and Senate Republicans, among others.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. EDT and the president’s remarks are expected at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
