Two and a half years after Perry died, a June 5 auction will be offering 130 lots of his personal effects, with the proceeds going to his addiction and substance abuse foundation. The headliner is a Banksy Girl With Balloon (est. $800,000). But there’s also Perry’s 1995 SAG Award, his personal replica of the iconic yellow peephole frame from Monica’s apartment, a “Mattman” 3D portrait with Batman mask from a 2016 Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance, and 26 of his Friends scripts spanning key episodes including “The One With Ross’s Tan.”

The real treasure, though, is easier to miss. After the show wrapped, Aniston assembled photo albums of candids from the cast’s private wrap dinner — a keepsake she gave to each of her co-stars — tucking a personal note inside Perry’s that turned out to be more farewell than either of them could possibly know.
“Oh my God,” she wrote, “how am I going to live without your light in my life on a daily basis? I know that light has been dimmed at times and there were moments I was so scared it was going to go out all together.” She thanked him for “choosing to live this life.” She signed off: “I love you. Jenny!”
