The people have spoken at this year’s Fantasia International Film Festival.

Nicky Murphy’s vampire mockumentary “I Love Paris” took home best international feature honors at the audience awards, while Masanao Kawajiri’s “Cherry and Virgin” was honored with best animated feature.

This year’s Fantasia International Film Festival took place from July 16 to Aug. 2 in Montreal. The audience award winners were named after this year’s juried winners were announced.
