Jones: Paul Smith / Shakur: Getty Images The cast of Universal’s Snoop Dogg biopic is shaping up, with Camron Jones (“P-Valley,” “Panic”) set to play Tupac Shakur, while Lauren London (“Without Remorse,” “ATL”) will portray Snoop’s late mother, Beverly Tate.
“Outer Banks” alum Jonathan Daviss was previously announced to star as the rap legend in the movie, directed by Craig Brewer (“Hustle and Flow,” “Dolemite Is My Name,” “Song Sung Blue”). In addition to Daviss, Jones and London, Myles Bullock will also star as Dr. Dre.
