The UFC card on the White House lawn drew a big audience for Paramount+.

The streamer says the June 14 event, which featured a purpose-built octagon on the south lawn of the presidential residence, averaged 8.2 million viewers in the United States and Latin America. That makes the card the most watched live event in Paramount+’s history so far.

Also on the streaming front — but in a very different corner of it — Peacock’s Love Island USA has started its eighth season with big increases over its already hugely successful 2025 season.

Nielsen streaming figures show 7 million people in the U.S. watched the seven-bout UFC card. An additional 1.2 million people in Latin America tuned in, based on Adobe Analytics data. Paramount+ also says nearly 17 million people (15.26 million in the U.S.) watched at least one minute of the event. Viewing totals from other territories will be released next week.

Paramount is in the first year of a seven-year, $7.7 billion media rights deal with the UFC, which is owned by TKO Group. The White House card grew out of a suggestion by President Donald Trump and was brought to fruition by Trump friend and UFC CEO Dana White.

The Paramount+ deal is putting UFC events in front of a bigger audience than its previous pay-per-view structure; the streamer says viewership is as much as 20 times higher than the PPV average of the prior two years.

Turning to Love Island: Peacock says the show amassed 2.3 billion minutes of viewing over the first two weeks of season eight, based on preliminary Nielsen data. That figure should grow, as data for the week of June 8 is currently understated. Regardless, that’s a sizable improvement on the first two weeks of season seven last year, which had about 1.86 billion minutes of watch time in its first two weeks, according to Nielsen’s final numbers.

Peacock’s first-party data shows that 26 percent of Love Island USA’s audience is watching via mobile devices, which would only increased the total viewing time. Nielsen’s streaming ratings primarily measure viewing on TV screens.
