Erika Goldring/WireImage Turnstile has announced a free show that will take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. The concert, which will be held by the Washington Monument, will be hosted with Human Concern International to raise funds to benefit the organization’s humanitarian efforts in Sudan and Lebanon and for Palestinians living in Gaza. The show will act as both a tour wrap-up to their Never Enough Tour Pt. 2 and hometown show for the group.
Speaking about the event, Hassan Wadi, Global Director of Human Concern International shares, “As a Gazan, I cannot be prouder of the Turnstile team and community for coming together to support the people of Gaza, Lebanon and Sudan,” Hassan Wadi, Global Director of Human Concern International, said in a statement. “Three regions who have suffered so much. With your support we aim to provide food, water, medical care and shelter to families in need in all three regions. Thank you all for your support, we are honored to collect and deliver these donations.”
The news follows Turnstile’s debut on Saturday Night Live where they performed the first single and a two-song medley off their Grammy-winning album Never Enough. The group opened with “Birds,” which took home Best Metal Performance at the Grammys in February, and played a medley of “I Care” and “Dull.”
Never Enough, their fourth album following 2021’s Glow On, won Best Rock Album at the same awards ceremony, in which the band was the first to be nominated simultaneously in the Rock, Alternative and Metal categories. In August, the band released a “reimagined” version of Never Enough.
