Paramount+ Tom Hardy is not leaving “MobLand” behind after all. Variety has confirmed with sources that the actor is set to return to the Paramount+ crime drama for a potential third season.
As previously reported, Hardy had completed work on Season 2 of the series when he fell out with executive producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios, and others. Production wrapped on Season 2 in March.
Hardy and the production team reportedly met in London to hash out their issues, leading to Hardy’s return to the show. Sources previously told Variety that plans were underway to bring Hardy back to the series. A third season has not been formally announced at this time, but given the show’s success on the streaming platform it is all but guaranteed.
