This Keepsake Dolly Parton Coin Is a Golden Tribute to the ‘Queen of Country Music’

Dolly Parton is being commemorated on a collectible coin honoring the Queen of Country and her impact on the music industry.

Available now on Amazon, the Dolly Parton coin is made from a heavyweight zinc alloy with distressed, gold-tone plating. The high-relief detailing encompasses both sides of the coin, with a raised portrait of Parton (and her signature blond coif) on one side, and a microphone, guitar, and crown design on the other.

Nods to the singer abound, from her beloved rhinestones and butterflies, to the Great Smoky Mountains in the background, to a relief that proclaims her as “The Queen of Country Music.”

Other motifs include roses (a call out to the flower named after the singer), and phrases proclaiming “Forever in Song,” “Rhinestone Spirit,” and “Legacy of Love.” A banner on each side has the dates 1946-2026, celebrating the music legend’s 80 years of life.

The striking, full-color coin measures just over 1.5 inches in diameter (which is larger than all the currently circulated coins) and has a substantial weight of approximately 32 grams — or roughly the weight of two AA batteries. Amazon is selling the coin individually, as a five-pack, or as a ten-pack here.

Released this month, the Parton coin is surging on Amazon’s bestselling collectibles chart, with both fans of the singer and coin collectors alike rushing to pick up the keepsake before it sells out.

You can also pick up this five-pack of silver-tone Dolly Parton coins, which feature an image of the singer surrounded by butterflies and music notes, with “Forever the Queen of Country” inscribed below. The back of the coin features a number of words and phrases that pay tribute to the singer, including the title of her iconic song, “I Will Always Love You.”

Amazon has a five-pack available for $14, bringing the price of each collectible coin down to just $2.75. As with all fan merch, this is expected to sell quickly, especially in the wake of the singer’s death.

Amazon also sells this desktop display stand, which has slots that can show off your new coins, or be used to display postcards, photos, and other small accessories. This stand is made from solid acacia wood, and measures approximately 8 x 14 inches in size.

The Dolly Parton Memorial Coins, meanwhile, are part of a slew of fan-made memorabilia and apparel that has hit the internet following the singer’s death. Though this is unofficial merch, Amazon says it’s still a “heartfelt keepsake for lifelong fans and collectors,” celebrating the “music, style, and unforgettable spirit behind a legendary career.”
