These Shirtless ‘Heated Rivalry’ Bobbleheads Are Made for Your Boy Aquarium

There’s been no shortage of Heated Rivalry collectibles since the breakout show’s release, from official books and vinyl to fan-made “cottage” candles, but one piece of merch is cutting a sexy figure — and making us do a double take.

Etsy seller “Bookshelf of Fantasy” is offering up some Heated Rivalry-inspired bobblehead dolls, that feature the characters of Ilya and Shane as shirtless, standing figurines. Each bobblehead measures approximately six inches tall, with the miniature hockey hunks stripped down to their pads and gloves. While the main body parts are fixed, the exaggerated heads have full bobble spring action.

Ilya – Heated Rivalry-Inspired Handmade Bobblehead Figurine

This bobblehead is modeled after Russian hunk Ilya Rozanov, played by Connor Storrie, and the figurine features the actor’s washboards abs and chiseled jawline on full display.

The “Ilya” bobblehead sports hockey pants (or “breezers”) adorned with the logo of the fictitious Boston Raiders team that the all-star center plays for on the show. The bobblehead is perched on a plastic stand with the player’s name on the front, for easy displaying.

Fans can also pick up this Shane Hollander bobblehead, inspired by the Canadian hockey star played by Hudson Williams.

Shane wears his red, white and blue Montreal Metros uniform (or well, half of it) in this Heated Rivalry-inspired desktop collectible. The name “Shane Hollander” is painted in gold block letters on the front of the black, hockey puck-inspired stand.

And you can complete your collection with this Scott Hunter-inspired bobblehead, which features the captain of the cup-winning New York Admirals baring his broad chest, buff bod, and (ahem) big stick.

These are not official Heated Rivalry merch releases of course, but rather fan-made collectibles, so this bobblehead above is actually named the “Hunter” on the Etsy site. Make sure you select the “Hunter” option when placing your order if you want to take home Francois Arnaud’s character’s figurine.

Images from the Etsy seller’s page show that each bobblehead is hand-designed and hand-painted, meaning that no two models will look exactly the same. What that means: you’re getting a true collector’s item that no one else will have. Etsy says everything is also produced in the USA and ships from North Carolina (note: because of the handmade nature of these bobbleheads, you should allow about a week for it to ship).

As the Etsy seller explains, the concept of these Heated Rivalry bobbleheads was to “take the hyper masculine machismo of the sports bobble head and turn it on its head, (pun intended) by juxtaposing it with these kind loving queer icons who are the best in the game.”

The bobbleheads are selling quickly with limited quantities available as of this writing so we recommend adding it to cart while the Ilya, Shane, and “Hunter” figurines are still in stock.

Simply head to the Etsy page to select your preferred height (anywhere from five inches to 15 inches tall), your preferred “head” style (fixed or bobble), and then upload a photograph for inspiration. You can also specify any text, colors, or outfit details you want to include.

Heated Hockey Standee

Another option? Amazon doesn’t sell Heated Rivalry bobbleheads but you can find this plastic “standee” inspired by the show. Illustrations of Shane and Ilya are printed on a crystal-clear acrylic material, with a hockey rink stand. This piece measures approximately 5 x 6 inches in size.

Now a certified cultural phenomenon, Heated Rivalry is set to film its second season this summer. The first season, meantime, is streaming now on HBO Max and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD next year.
