The Last Dinner Party Take Brooklyn

Backstage before the show, the Last Dinner Party were ready to rock in their signature fashion.

“It sounds cheesy when I try to put it into words, but you really give us so much by being here because you make the songs feel different every night,” frontwoman Abigail Morris told the crowd. “We play them because you’re different every night and you found us and we found you.”

Lead guitarist Emily Roberts plays an Ernie Ball Music Man St. Vincent Goldie, one of her favorite instruments.

Morris leads the crowd through the choreo for the band’s 2025 single “This Is the Killer Speaking.”

“It’s a gift that you’ve given us by making the songs come alive every night with this new kind of magic and new meaning,” Morris told the fans. “It makes us feel like we’re playing them for the first time, so I just want to say thank you.”

The band performed without bassist Georgia Davies, who had to leave the tour after injuring her back during a show in Texas.

Keyboardist Aurora Nishevci sings lead on “I Hold Your Anger.”

“You feel this kind of safety performing in a group like this because, onstage and offstage, we’re so close,” Morris said when the Last Dinner Party were named to Rolling Stone’s Future 25 in 2024. “What’s key is, like, none of us are putting on an act. None of us are characters. We’re just having fun, really.”

When the band performed their breakthrough hit “Nothing Matters” to close the main set, they asked the audience to stay off their phones and be present in the moment.

After an encore that included a cover of LCD Soundsystem’s “New York I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down,” the band took a bow and said goodnight.
