It was written by bestselling author Dame Rose Tremain, based on her own short story and forthcoming novel, which is scheduled for publication by Penguin Random House UK and HarperCollins US this autumn. Filming took place at Knebworth House, on the Cornish coast, and at Leavesden Studios.
