“The Daily Show” host Jordan Klepper went down South to celebrate America’s 250th birthday for a new installment of “Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse.”

Airing during tonight’s episode of “The Daily Show,” the segment finds the host in New Orleans during Sail250, a traveling maritime celebration featuring ships and military vessels. Klepper wanders the streets talks to people about the state of America and the current political administration. Along the way, he finds people dressed in stars and stripes, and a boozed-up man in a pirate costume.
