Colin J Smith “Sunny Dancer,” the British indie feature that charmed audiences in the Berlinale earlier this year, has sold globally, including for North America.
The sophomore feature of rising director George Jaques and a coming-of-age comedy about teenage cancer survivors, the films stars Bella Ramsey (“The Last of Us”) who leads an ensemble of established and up-and-coming names. Alongside Ramsey, the cast includes Neil Patrick Harris (“A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “Gone Girl”), Jessica Gunning (“Baby Reindeer”), James Norton (“Joy,” “Bob Marley:One Love”), Ruby Stokes (“Bridgerton”), Daniel Quinn-Toye (“Cry To Heaven”), Earl Cave (“The Chronology Of Water”), Jasmin Elcock and Conrad Kahn (“County Lines”).
