Courtesy of Bravo After the internet was set aflame last week when “Summer House” stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed they’re dating (or something), Bravo has announced that the show’s highly anticipated spinoff “In the City” — starring Batula, Kyle Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard — will premiere on May 19. The show’s debut will be a two-hour crossover with the Season 10 finale of “Summer House.” Bravo also revealed the full cast of “In the City,” which includes “Summer House” alumni Danielle Olivera and Andrea Denver.
“Summer House” fans already know that “In the City,” which was filmed last fall in New York City,” will depict the end of Cooke and Batula’s marriage. The couple, who married on camera in September 2021, announced their split in January 2026, a month before Season 10 of “Summer House” premiered. And there’s plenty of “Scenes From a Marriage”-like fighting between in the “In the City” superteaser, with Batula saying to Cooke, “We don’t have a pre-nup, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you,” and Cooke responding, “That would be a losing battle.” Batula then says: “Are you threatening me?”
Yet what will surely also get fans’ attention in light of Batula and Wilson’s explosive recent announcement that they’re exploring a relationship is a loving hug between them in the trailer. “Hey, Mandy!” Wilson says to Batula warmly as he embraces her. (Wilson will appear only as a guest on “In the City.”) Batula and Wilson confirmed they’re dating after weeks of internet sleuthing among the Bravosphere, sparked by DeuxMoi, which involved canceled Amazon Lives, the absence of posts being liked and cryptic posts by “Summer House” stars.
As opposed to other times when Bravo stars’ lives get messy, the network didn’t restart filming on “Summer House” in order to capture the aftermath of the Amanda-West scandal, and the accompanying fallout with Cooke; “Summer House” star Ciara Miller, Batula’s purported close friend and Wilson’s ex; and the rest of the cast (though we do know from Cooke that “Carl’s a mess.”) The “Summer House” reunion will film later this month (Bravo wouldn’t confirm when), and will roll out after the show’s May 19 finale.
