'Toy Story 5' Disney/Pixar Logo text Pixar’s Toy Story 5 debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen’s streaming charts in its first week of release, beating out strong showings for Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story and Neagley.
The movie collected 1.54 billion minutes of viewing time in its first week on Disney+, equivalent to about 15.1 million views (total viewing dvided by the 102-minute run time for Toy Story 5). That’s the second largest single-week total for a movie on Disney+ this year, behind the 1.72 billion minutes for Zootopia 2 in March.
Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story and Neagley both came down some from their premiere weeks, but the two shows still put up good numbers. Monster’s decline was smaller (just 8 percent, to 1.36 billion viewing minutes), so it moved ahead of the Reacher spinoff (1.25 billion, down about 30 percent) in the rankings.
