Carrie premiered as the No. 1 streaming title in the United States for the week of Oct. 5-11. The eight-episode season, a present-day update of Stephen King’s novel from showrunner Mike Flanagan, racked up 1.26 billion viewing minutes for the week (the series debuted on Oct. 7).
Prime Video has been on a bit of a hot streak lately: It has had the No. 1 overall title six times in the past eight weeks of Nielsen’s streaming ratings. Reacher held the top ranking four times in August and September, giving way to spinoff Neagley in the week of Sept. 14-20.
