Everett Collection Sony’s superhero blockbuster “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” retained its box office crown across the U.K. and Ireland for a sixth consecutive weekend, taking £1.6 million ($2.2 million).
The performance propelled the film’s cumulative gross to $130.1 million, elevating it to sixth on the territory’s all-time box office chart. The film now sits within striking distance of “Avatar” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” to break into the all-time top five.
