'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.' The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day became the most-viewed trailer in 24 hours ever this past March, and now producers are starting over from scratch with a new glimpse at Tom Holland’s fourth venture into the Spiderverse, which opens July 31. The hooks this time include Spider-Man spinning out of control, Peter Parker asking Bruce Banner how to suppress his mutations, the Incredible Hulk hulking out incredibly, and, most horrifically, New York City skyscrapers crumbling outward.
In the trailer’s final scene, a group of what look like SWAT officers have Spider-Man surrounded and he stuns them by saying he needed to take a minute to stretch. “I’m not in high school anymore,” he quips. “Do you stretch? Are you a big stretcher? It’s so good for you.” Then of course he shows them what he’s made of.
