Spencer Pratt conceded defeat in the race for Los Angeles mayor on Friday, painting a bleak picture of the city’s future under either of his opponents and vowing to continue to “expose this corrupt machine.”

Pratt, a Republican and former star of “The Hills,” finished third in the June 2 primary behind two Democrats, incumbent Karen Bass and Councilwoman Nithya Raman, whom Pratt described in his concession as “these commie animals.”
