Screenshot courtesy Sky/SNL UK “SNL U.K.‘s” Weekend Update took aim at Met Gala attendees this week for Episode 7, with co-host Ania Magliano saying that this year’s theme “was people you’d like to see exploded.”
“Beyonce looked amazing,” she said, adding of the singer’s elaborate silver headpiece: “Someone’s made the most of the Claire’s closing down sale” (a reference to the closure of all Claire’s Accessories stores in the U.K.). Magliano then moved on to Katy Perry’s outfit, which she described as: “an eerie mirrored mask covering her whole face, symbolizing what it’s like to live life as a stupid moron.”
