Courtesy of Sky James McAvoy is set to be joined by former Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston and Marvel alum Benedict Wong in Sky drama “Meantime.”
Based on a novel by Frankie Boyle, the six-part crime thriller follows Felix McAveety (McAvoy), an addict who is suspected of murdering his best friend in a Glasgow park. As Felix sets out to clear his name, hindered by intoxication and paranoia, he enlists a detective turned crime novelist (played by Josette Simon) and a chaotic friend (Jamie Michie).
Eccleston and Wong’s roles have not yet been revealed.

Jon S. Baird directs while the series is produced by Happy Tramp North and Expectation (Alma’s Not Normal, Malice) in association with Sky Studios. Boyle and Neil Webster have adapted the novel
