Meg Young Nia DaCosta will direct the first two episodes of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series “Sex Criminals.” She will also serve as an executive producer on the project.
Based on Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s comic book series of the same name, published by Image Comics, the series stars Imogen Poots as Suze, who is described as “a normal girl with an extraordinary ability: When she has sex, she stops time. One night, she meets Jon (John Reynolds), who has the same gift. And so they do what any other sex-having, time-stopping couple would do: They rob banks.”
