©NBC/Courtesy Everett Collection “Seinfeld” has renewed its licensing agreement with Netflix and will stay on the streamer for another five years.
The beloved sitcom has also re-upped its deal with Paramount, extending the studio’s exclusive basic cable rights in the U.S. for three years across Comedy Central, TV Land and other Paramount cable networks. Financial terms were not disclosed, yada yada yada.
All 180 episodes of “Seinfeld” first went to Netflix and Comedy Central in 2021. Sony Pictures Television signed streaming and cable agreements in 2019 with Netflix and Viacom, before the latter company’s merger with CBS, which was later named Paramount Global.
