Olivia Rodrigo and Addison Rae perform at the Coachella Stage during the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at Empire Polo Club on April 18, 2026 in Indio, California. Toward the end of Rae’s set, that singer was performing her song “Headphones On” when she paused after the lyric “I compare myself to the new It Girl,” at which point Rodrigo emerged onstage:

While Rodrigo has never played her own Coachella set, the singer has a history of surprise appearances at the fest: In 2024, she made an unannounced cameo during No Doubt’s reunion set to join that band on “Bathwater.”
