“Princess,” a canine-driven romantic comedy starring Lucy Hale and Adam Demos, has wrapped production as Daniel Baur’s K5 Intl. prepares to ramp up world sales at Cannes with an exclusive first-look image just released.

The film, which is directed by Lina Roessler (“So Much for Love,” “Best Sellers”), marks a return to “the tradition of playful, character-based rom-coms of the 80s and 90s,” K5 Intl. said. It brings “a contemporary comedic sensibility to a classic romantic setup, blending screwball energy with heartfelt emotion and ensemble-driven storytelling.”
