A series adaptation of the Rick Riordan book series is in development at Disney+. If the project is ordered, Angela Robinson (“True Blood,” “The L Word”) will executive produce and write the show alongside Riordan, who is best known for his “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series.
“The Kane Chronicles” is an trilogy based on Egyptian mythology, set in the same universe as Riordan’s “Camp Half-Blood Chronicles” (which includes “Percy”) and “Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.” The series follows siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, who have magical powers and are descendants of the two pharaohs Narmer and Ramses the Great.
