The Reserve Bank of Australia has raised its key interest rate to 4.6%, its highest level since 2011. RBA governor Michele Bullock says the global AI boom has 'driven significant price rises' and is contributing to demand in the Australian economy. In a statement accompanying the RBA's rate setting board's unanimous decision, it warned its fears about inflation are beginning to be realised and it is ready to lift interest rates again
