Courtesy Claudia Loda Raffaele Annecchino, who over more than 25 years at Paramount/ViacomCBS rose from an early role on the sales side in Madrid to oversee the company’s international operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia, has died of acute meningitis. He was 55.
As CEO of Paramount International, Annecchino played a central role in the company’s transition from traditional broadcasting to digital platforms. He drove the international rollout of Paramount+, supported the global expansion of Pluto TV and championed innovation, digitization and strategic partnerships that positioned the company for long‑term growth.
