Met Gala Monday is all about the fashion, but Sabrina Carpenter utilized her look to pay homage to one film in particular.

The Grammy winner stepped out in Christian Dior and Chopard jewelry at the 2026 Met Gala, wearing strips upon strips of vintage camera film from Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 movie Sabrina. Shots of Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holden were present on the many miniature film strips that adorned Carpenter’s look, adding to the old Hollywood glitz and glam of her look.

Carpenter has been tapping into that aesthetic quite frequently, having recently themed her headlining Coachella set around the iconographies of vintage Hollywood and deemed herself “Sabrinawood.” On Monday, she elevated her mint aesthetic by smartly incorporating elements of the film that match her own name.
