Courtesy of Région Hauts-de-France As Series Mania returns to Lille, one of Europe’s key TV fest and industry events, France’s regional and national screen bodies are using the event to sharpen another pitch: Lille region Hauts-de-France as a destination for international shoots.
From March 22-27, Pictanovo, the Hauts-de-France regional screen agency, and Film France-CNC, the national film commission arm of France’s CNC National Film Board, will host an international delegation of U.S. and global film and TV executives on a four-day Inspiration Tour across the Hauts-de-France region, staged in collaboration with Series Mania.
Held in parallel to the Lille festival and its industry Forum, the initiative is designed to connect foreign decision-makers with French production talent, service companies and location specialists, while showcasing the region’s production offer to international executives gathered in Lille for the event. Among the participants are Alexis Auditore, director of physical production at Marvel Studios; Derek Martin, vice president of television at Bad Robot Productions; Keleigh Slaight, executive director of physical production at Sony Pictures Television and Robert West, senior vice president of production at CBS Studios.

The group also includes Tracy Wu, manager of physical production at 20th Century Studios; Theodore Au, producer at HBO; Ernesto Alcalde, executive producer at Stingy Wit Dinero Productions and Aaron Hurvitz, an international location scout and LMGI member.
On the ground, the delegation will be accompanied by four French ambassadors with strong hands-on production expertise: first assistant director Claire Letoret, location scouts Stéphanie Perret and Carole Reinhard, and unit production manager-line producer Christine Raspillère. The setup is meant to give visiting executives a practical sense of how international shoots can be serviced locally and how the regional production ecosystem works in practice.
The program combines attendance at the Series Mania Forum with a fam tour of what the region has to offer for film shoots. Participants will visit the Château de Chantilly, Amiens Cathedral, Villa Cavrois and the Roubaix Swimming Pool, now the La Piscine museum, while also meeting local professionals and specialized service providers.
