Comedy legend Peter Kay has announced four benefit shows in his home town of Bolton.

Kay, 52, is to play the Albert Halls for the first time in more than 20 years, with all proceeds going to Bolton Hospice.

Tickets go on sale on Friday and are restricted to people with a Bolton postmark.

He will stage shows on the evenings of 9, 10 and 11 July, plus a matinee on 11 July.

The dates are to be added to his from his 2026 stand-up tour better Late Than Never.

Kay has already announced that the proceeds will be donated to 12 cancer charities.
