With the Sundance Film Festival decamping from Park City, Utah, next year, Olympian Shaun White is sliding onto the mountain with his halfpipe snowboarding and freeskiing tournament, The Snow League.

White revealed the news on Tuesday morning from atop an 18-foot halfpipe on the side of Park City Mountain, the largest ski resort in the U.S. and a site for the 2034 Winter Olympics. The three-day Snow League competition will take place on the famed Utah run from Jan. 22-24, 2027, a weekend typically reserved for the most high-profile premieres at the Sundance Film Festival, which will take place Jan 21-31 in Boulder, Colo. instead.
