Taylor Hill/FilmMagic; Steve Granitz/FilmMagic; JB Lacroix/WireImage A month before she releases her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Olivia Rodrigo will both host and sing on Saturday Night Live. The artist will pull double duty on May 2. Although the artist, whose “Drivers License” inspired one of SNL‘s most memorable sketches in recent years, appeared on the show as a musical guest twice, this will be her first time hosting. “Massive dream come true,” she wrote on Instagram. “See u soon nyc🗽🩷💋” It’s safe to guess that she’ll preview songs from the album, due out June 12, during her musical guest portion of the show.
The show, which will air live this weekend with host Colman Domingo and musical guest Anitta, also announced the hosts and musical guests for the last two episodes of the season. Matt Damon will host on May 9 with musical guest Noah Kahan. Damon will be promoting The Odyssey, the Homeric upcoming Christopher Nolan movie he’s starring in this summer, and Kahan has his fourth album, The Great Divide, coming out April 24.
